Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a family of musicians. The music she grew up with was classic Boleros from the past along with traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana loves tangos as well the dramatic and opera performances. Following her singing lessons with mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous training in vocals at age 16 under the guidance of renown Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. She continued her musical training at the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In her early career, she was spent performing with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs in Guadalajara. Following her move from Mexico to the United States at the age of 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She has performed solo Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. The love she has for the performing arts, music, and the arts keeps active in community projects in both her capacity as an artist and educator. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Choir for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
